

Scott P. Snow is the Managing Director of Scott Snow (financial advisors) LLC.
Scott is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner and Certified
Investment Management Analyst. Prior to forming his own firm in 2005, Scott
was a financial advisor with Ernst & Young LLP. He holds a bachelor’s degree
in business administration from the University of North Florida, where he concentrated
in accounting and computer information systems. Scott participates annually
in The Plain Dealer’s Tax Call-In and Retirement Call-In, special hotlines staffed
by top local tax and financial planning professionals who volunteer their time
to help readers with questions. In addition, he is a featured writer of the
publication’s “Ask the Expert” column. Scott is a sought-after resource for
other business media as well, including Crain’s Cleveland Business and Financial
Advisor. Scott is a member of the Case Western Reserve University Estate Planning
Council. He is a member of University Hospitals Diamond Advisory Group and a
member of The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. Scott is
on the board of directors of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI),
serving on its finance committee and an advisory board member of the University
of Michigan–Prechter Bipolar Research Fund. He is a frequent and popular lecturer
on personal financial planning topics to groups of small business owners, accountants,
attorneys and bankers.

David Abate is a Manager with Scott Snow (financial advisors) LLC.
Prior to joining the firm, David gained experience at Smith Barney. He received
a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Miami University,
and he holds a master of business administration degree from Georgia State University,
with a specialization in finance. David is working toward his Chartered Financial
Analyst designation and is active in the local Toastmasters International Association.
